Of course it’s there. If it weren’t there, all life on earth would die.

If you and I are in separate rooms with an open door between us and I shut the door, are you still there?

Quote:Sura 17, The Quran:
https://quran.ksu.edu.sa/index.php?l=en#...rans=en_sh

( 12 )   And We have made the night and day two signs, and We erased the sign of the night and made the sign of the day visible that you may seek bounty from your Lord and may know the number of years and the account [of time]. And everything We have set out in detail.

This verse explicitly says that the night has hidden facts that were erased, or in other words "made invisible".

Science today did find out that the night does indeed carry invisible things, and it was called "dark energy" and "dark matter".

In my perspective, the cosmos -which is in constant night- carries lots of signs that are not visible; erased if I want to use the same language of the Quran.

That verse spoke about dark energy and matter.

EVERY religion in the world has followers whom try to argue that science points to their club/holy writing.

Google search

"Christian Science"
"Buddhist Science"
"Hindu Science"
"Jewish Science".

Scientific method is a tool, not a religion. It does not point to Allah or Jesus, or Yahweh or Vishnu or Buddha.

It isn’t trolling at all. I’m trying to explain to you the difference between ‘not there’ and ‘hidden’. I’ll try again.

When it’s nighttime in one hemisphere, it’s daytime in the other. This is caused by the Earth’s rotation. The sun is still there, we’ve simply turned away from it. It’s as if you’re looking at your cat sleeping on the bed. If you look away, the cat is still on the bed - it’s still there.

This is where your interpretation of the Quranic verse you quoted is flawed. ‘Night’ is a purely local and transient phenomenon, it’s got nothing at all to do with space as a whole. In fact, at any given moment, it’s ‘night’ in trillions of places in the universe and ‘day’ in trillions of others.

And as i already pointed out night can't simply be darkness otherwise any dark place on earth during the day would have to be considered night .And that would be absurd .
