Indeed the need to bomb Dresden is questionable, so is Hiroshima (but probably to a much lesser extend). But lets not nitpick about irrelevancies.

Well, my knowledge of the Dresden raids was rather limited so I've just had another look and yes, there is much contention and afaics no consensus as to whether it was a huge blunder or a legitimate target but massively overdone. I don't know.
What I am sure of is this disgusting pig Atlas should have been shitcanned years ago.
