Why won't God heal amputees?
|
Maybe, but I worry about the disposition of your eternal soul.
Have you heard the good news?
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!
Seems like we hardly ever get Christians who live up to the standard of turning the other cheek. Some guy said we would know his people by their love...not many around here, looks like.
I'm not anti-Christian. I'm anti-stupid.
That seems to have been his point. That we can and do know them, and that in many cases their heart fails to contain the faith their mouth professes.

More important is the distinction between things God heals and things God doesn't heal seems to be whether or not humans can heal those things naturally sometimes or not. God never heals anything that wouldn't also heal sometimes for an atheist or a Hindu, for some reason.

Hey again Brokenreflector! So... if a diety can be all loving and caring and "Here's some cancer for you. Oh! Here's some disease for you. Have some random weather/earth event for you..." what with such actions being all 'Mysterious ways' kind of thing. Why even think of giving said diety any sort of acknowledgement? Just curious. Cheers. Not at work. (June 10, 2020 at 11:37 am)Peebo-Thuhlu Wrote:(June 10, 2020 at 10:50 am)brokenreflector Wrote: False. Like I wrote previously, I don't think the purpose of life in this world is happiness, so I don't view cancer or natural disasters in the same way that you do. I believe we're put in situations that maximize our chances of turning to God. |
