Why did I (an atheist) legally change my name to "God"?

It's just so hilarious. It goes beyond actual mere trolling when the guy literally changes his first name in RL to God

I was just wondering because I can't tell the difference between a real legal name change document and a forgery.

I was a bit flippant with that, but you understand that realistically, I cannot tell who you really are, nor can you really tell who I am. Such is the nature of the interwebs.

It is unsurprising that PGJ would legally change his name to most of us because we have endured his crapfest both here and on other fora. He just creates sock account after sock account over and over as the bans accumulate.

There is, however, no reason to assume that you are familiar with that history. But said history makes us cynical and not just here. Everywhere.

But it's one thing to spend a great deal of your non-life being an idiotic troll on the internet (as that's sadly more common than one would think!) and quite another thing to be such a nutcase in RL that you legally change your first name to God merely in order to troll on the internet even harder. That's not just mega troll or even just mega-mega troll ... that's like the Patient Zero of all trolls (with extra nuts).

But I cannot determine that with any certainty, can I? All I can tell is that PGJ has a particular style and you do not have that style. I used flippancy to make a point. PGJ simply is incapable of pretending to be other than the wingnut he really is.

What?! I was clearly talking about PGJ and then talking about the commonness of trolls. Nowhere did I suggest that you are a troll. You are not a troll.

Well, not here and not currently, no. But he has trolled here plenty of times before. I assume you meant that PGJ wasn't a troll and didn't troll because of the following:

He genuinely believes the nonsense he posts. Everyone and anyone can determine that. Nobody can figure out why he believes it, or not so far.

Whether he genuinely believes the nonsense he posts or not ... I doubt that the moderators and admins would deem PGJ to not be a troll and it seems that the trolling rule on this website doesn't contain or presuppose anything about it not applying if a troll is sincere in their beliefs.
