That would be SWEET! But just like Roger Stone, my bet is that Steve is going to hedge his bets on a pardon.  I think that is a severe gamble right now, considering Trump's approval ratings are in the tank. But, not going to try to predict anything now, considering what  happened in 2016.

The only comforting thing right now, for now, in the moment is that the Orange turd is having a bad day.

Trump is like Jason from Friday The 13th, he keeps coming back no matter how many times you kill him. But Bannon is bad, really bad for him, morso than any other minion who has been charged and convicted. I hope you are right, I really do. I hope Bannon flips. But I have seen that script before, and Trump is still in office.

If I were Bannon's lawyer, I would advise him to sing like a canary for immunity. But if Bannon is betting on 4 more years of Trump, he may not do that.

Trump’s going to be out in five months. The odds of Bannon’s case coming to trial and his being convicted by then are close to nil. This makes a pardon all but impossible.

So he pleads guilty. Asks for immediate sentencing. A judge would be hard pressed to give a reason for a delay in sentencing...  A few weeks is about it....

Those conspiracy shoes, are longing to grift, right through the heart of it, NEW YORK NEW YORK. These White House Blues, aren't going away.I'll make a brand new lie of it, from a Florida resort. Fair point. Anything’s possible with this crowd of moral reprobates.

If you think about - this IS the outcome if President Trump was savvy to the misdeeds. He would have to make a deal to keep it from coming out.
If Trump is "innocent" of any connection to this - his best bet would be to throw Bannon under the bus.... However if it drags on until the election it could cost Trump a few votes. And I even posted wondering who was going to throw mud first...

Either way it's a bit of a tarbaby for The Great Pumpkin....

I’d be really surprised if Trump was involved in this. His relationship with Bannon turned pretty sour, and Trump isn’t one to forgive and forget. That’s not to say that Bannon doesn’t have other stuff on Trump that he could offer up as part of a plea agreement.

But as I said, you can’t really put anything past these thugs.

Update: He’s out of jail on a $5 million bond. Seems kind of high for a first offense.

The article I read says, ‘Yes.’ He’s also not allowed to travel on private planes or ships.

He's such an admirer of Lenin. Maybe the Russians will smuggle him out to live with Putin.  Angel
