There are news reports that social media is teeming with Republican defenses of Bannon and trying to blame Democrats.

If the allegations are true, Republicans are highly likely to be most of the people he defrauded.

Probably not a lot. The indictment alleges that Bannon pocketed around $350 000 of the donated money. Also, an article I found says the court is requiring his bond to be secured by assets which he has to surrender to the court within the next few days, which means (I’m kinda guessing at this bit) that the state is holding his property pending the outcome of the case.

I think he’s far more likely to do a runner than kill himself. Lack of a passport has never stopped anyone from changing countries. #iknowaguy
