I'm reminded of the last time I consumed SPAM. It was on a Boy Scout camp out in the late '90s, and some of the boys worshiped that...shtuff. I was reading off the ingredients aloud, and when I got to "mechanically separated chicken" one of the parents left with her son to go get McDonald's for breakfast.
- Spam Lite – "33% fewer calories, 25% less sodium, and 50% less fat" – made from pork with ham, and mechanically separated chicken
