I also think organic life sign on venus is a mirage. it seem difficult to imagine an entirely airborne biosphere as no organics will survive even in the lower Venusian atmophere, much less the surface. how nutrients reach upper atmosphere, or will be steadily replenish is hard to imagine. i think we simply have not done adequate research to anticipate all the nonbiological chemical processes that can possibly introduce trace amounts of organic molecules into a nonbiological planetary environment.
That's how this ends up being substantial either way, I think. Let's go out on a limb (lol) and say we don't find life. We have found something without an immediately obvious explanation. Yet another way, other than biological processes, for those chemicals to end up where we find them.
