They all should have been charged...with that I agree. But there will be no easy sentence for the cop that's going to be behind bars.
That assumes he’s going to be convicted, a preferred but not certain outcome.

Not only is money the root of all our problems, too many people think it is a necessary evil and some others believe it is the only solution to most issues.

I don't fucking get how the one officer charged, regardless of trial outcome, how he can be charged with endangering the NEIGHBORS, but the actual other officers bullets that DID kill her, are not being charged.

Her boyfriend DID NOT KNOW who broke down his door and like any sane person, is going to want to defend their domicile.
Back atcha! So for a gun worshiper like you, are you saying it is not ok for someone to defend their home?
And lets not forget that the No Knock Warrant, was based on bad intel in the first place.

Her family was just awarded 12 million dollars in a civil suit why then?
It is Kentucky and Mitch is the master. But this shit is bullshit.
An innocent black woman was murdered by police and the state of Kentucky thinks "oops" and 12 million dollars makes up for it?
If two officers genuinely mistakenly believed a innocent person Imminently threatened both their lives. One shot the innocent person dead, the other fired randomly to scare the innocent person but hit a school bus instead.
I can see why under this circumstance the cop who shot the innocent person dead is less culpable the cop who shot a school bus even if no one in the school bus was killed.
The cop who killed the innocent person did a thing that was justifiable within the Genuine mistaken perception of the situation.
The cop who shot the school bus did a thing that was reckless even within the genuine mistaken perception of the situation.

No no no no no........
The warrant was based on bad info.......... The boyfriend shot, because he didn't know who was at the door.

Yeah - you are all about excuses - ain't ya???
It's always somebody else's fault.
....
If you got out in the real world someday you might learn that sometimes shit just fucking happens. Bad shit. It just happens.
Yes - the guy had the right to open fire at somebody breaking down his door at night.
Yes - the cops have the right (in fact - the duty) to do whatever it takes to stop that - including returning fire.
....
Bad shit does happen.

It sure does, and when it does, we hold people accountable...or....?
I've got to say, this is like a fine wine to me. The city drops the charges against her boyfriend, he files suit - they settle for 12 mil with her family (not doing them any favor), promises are made from the station to the statehouse......and the prosecutors failed to convince a group of jurists that there was anything at all worth taking to trial?
Not exactly matlock in the fuckin courtroom, are they.
