Right, anyone can call themselves Antifa.

Antifa isn't a terrorist organization in the first place.  This is the creeping infection of the current moment.

If we're comparing antifa to right wing domestic terrorists, then, yes, antifa is absolutely more acceptable than that.

I never said they were. But conspiracy to kidnap for political gains is a terrorist act. If an antifa member was involved in this, he’s a terrorist. Doesn’t mean the loosely defined group called antifa is a terrorist organization.

I don’t see how it is more acceptable for an antifa member to try and kidnap an elected official than it is for one of the right-wing wombats to do it.

Antifa isn't an organization, it doesn't have membership or members, and it is not in the business of kidnapping elected officials.

I appreciate that you view this through the lens of your experience, but it's important to remember that our situation has little resemblance to the one of your experience, and none whatsoever in this instance.

Would you agree that someone who considers himself as part of the antifa movement and  commits a terrorist act would be, by definition, a terrorist?

In two party politics good and bad are determined by which side of the aisle they're from. It is strictly determined by where you sit.

And if you don't come from one side or the other - both will call you evil.

That by the way - is the definition of bipartisanship.

As much as someone who considers himself to be the risen christ who commits a terrorist act, sure, Boru.

OLB murdering irony again, I see.

"Antifa" is NOT a organization, but the idea of being against fascism.
Anti fascism= Antifa.
Not to be confused with "Neo Nazis" or "KKK" or "Proudboys".
The fuckers who conspired to kidnap a governor, were assholes simply afraid of change. And that is the core of every hate group in America.
