Either he/she/it is a troll given such a mission and a stack of talking points cards with which to carry it out, or perhaps He/she/it is a product that would give some troll on such a mission extreme professional pride.
True she's either become a "true believer " or a Troll

If she is a true believer, her beliefs seems to Be formed by a deck of Generic and Bombastic talking point cards, not formed Elastically around any body of experienceS and processed knowledge.

Which basically makes her indistinguishable from a troll who is on the clock, and have been coached about which of the pat talking point card to use under which circumstances,  like the Troll that goes by “irreligious atheist’

Looks weird and may seem gross, but it contains my droplets much better than doing in my hand and proceeding to touch everything.

If only there were some sort of covering that is proven to work better than a shirt or your hand, right?

But I'm not going to play along.

Oh this is good. I'd love to hear what you think happens when you wear a mask that could possibly be detrimental to one's health. The world's surgeons must all be in a truly dire state for wearing masks so frequently.

It's also absurd of you to focus on the fatality rate alone as means of not taking it seriously. What could happen if you contract coronavirus and survive?

Frequent neurologic manifestations and encephalopathy‐associated morbidity in Covid‐19 patients

Although judging by your posts in this thread, it is possible you may already have some form of encephalopathy. How about multi-organ failure instead?

COVID‐19 acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS)

Perhaps you're looking to destroy your lungs, both in the short-term and for the remainder of your life?

Back to Life: COVID Lung Transplant Survivor Tells Her Story

Of course to look at the recovery rate for the nation or the world and use that a basis of what your personal odds are of dying from it is silly. If you don't see why then think really hard. Don't hurt yourself, though.

But ultimately your perspective is... depressing, more than it is aggravating. It's depressing because you don't value the lives of others. You don't take your potential status as a carrier of this virus seriously. As someone with a suppressed immune system, I fully expect to lose my transplanted kidney or die if I get the virus. I rely on everyone else to take the precautions to get it under control so that I don't contract it. But that hasn't happened. This country has handled this pandemic very poorly, and it's in part due to attitudes like yours. Maybe brush up on critical thinking skills so YouTube videos don't shape your worldview? This is something I'm taking very personally. I see coronavirus misinformation as a literal harbinger of death - the more people believe it, the more will contract it, the more will die.

210,000 dead in the US, and over one million internationally, is nothing to scoff at. They're all unique individuals just like you. Thanks.

Silly Aegon posting actual sources from medical sources . Don't you know the best medical advice comes from listening to an unqualified internet comedian with a Youtube channel and a bunch of Twitter Karens mad they weren't allowed into Walmart .

Look on the bright side - just 17 days until your peepee is out of danger. Smile

It seems you all are the ones making it overly political by pretending that you're just so consumed with the fear and concern, and trying to shame sane, rational people into going along with the narrative; demanding that people must conform to the same levels of fear and compliance considered reasonable in response to the earliest models.

You all sound desperate and deranged when you talk like this.
It's very disturbing.

I'm convinced that some of you guys could be moved to condone some pretty horrific shit in the name of "the collective good".
And if you know me at all---you know I won't be guilted or gaslighted into cosigning any such shit.

I don't understand why it's such an imposition to wear a mask.

Maybe you're healthy like me and not particularly worried about getting the COVID.  Congrats.  Why not wear a mask to help protect others though?

Seems like a really pointless hill to die on... figuratively speaking.

Already had it.

I wear a mask at work administering care to others and when in close proximity to friends, family members or strangers who are or may be high risk.
But no, I do not don a mask the moment I exit my front door, while driving in my car, while simply walking outside, or shopping by my lonesome in an uncrowded store.

I don't do virtue signaling, and it's not my job to validate others' fear and hysteria by depriving myself of unencumbered breathing and fresh air every minute I'm outside my home. That is unreasonable, as far I'm concerned. I won't do it.

If I have a cough, cold or flu-like symptoms I'll happily wear a mask while out and about, no problem--or better yet, IMO, stay home.

@Aegon
Rather than expect that everyone (including all WELL people) must "protect" you from the viruses of this world by forfeiting their right to breath to breath normally and identify each other, you should probably just continue to adhere to social distancing guidelines and perhaps consider wearing a fitted N95 mask (without the valve). It keeping viruses from going either direction and is quite effective in protecting the wearer.

It's neither virtue signalling or advocating other peoples hysteria . And the mask has freaking impact on breathing fresh air . There is nothing unreasonable about it your simply a Karen .

This isn't cold or flu and comparing it to either is stupid . Or you can quit a baby and just wear a freaking mask .

I other your a selfish asshole who objects to masks and protecting the vulnerable from a pandemic for stupid reason and expect the vulnerable to make up for your Karen behaviour.
