Why you should fear Trump's pick for Supreme Court Judge

What do you think?

This is what scares me the most. I actually preferred when the looney toons did the little song and dance, just to cover up their insidious emotionally-based ideology, then at least they pretended to care about their supporters. The dog whistles have become fog horns. It has been a long time coming to stop with the niceties and confront their abhorrent ideology on the political arena. After the U.S. election results have been confirmed, rest of the world will have to pick up the slack in their own nations for their own domestic fascists.

For some reason, people are having difficulty understanding my thoughts on this thread; I really thought I'd already conveyed what I think.

You gave your thoughts about what you expected to happen and what republicans would be babbling about if the dems packed the courts. I think that you're right about the babbling, but they're already committed to that no matter what you do, or don't do - which is what I asked about.

It seems like there's a stray dog in the house, and on the theory of not antagonizing it, we're supposed to go about our day as though there isn't a stray dog in the house. To do otherwise would be untoward, or would lead to The Bad Thing...somehow. I think that this is a suicide pact. The dog is in your house, and it's already committed to biting you no matter what you do, and no matter what the cost would be.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!
