Protest Voting

Protest Voting
I’ve read that there are quite a number of Americans who, because of dissatisfaction with the candidates on offer, are planning to cast a protest vote, either some third party or NOTA.

This is perfectly OK. Inherent in a free society is the right to vote for anyone you want and consequences be damned.

But if you’re going to toss your vote into the electoral dustbin, you might as well have fun doing it. VOTE VERMIN!!

Quote:Vermin Love Supreme[1] (born June 3, 1961)[2] is an American performance artistpolitician, and activist who has run as a candidate in various local, state, and national elections in the United States. He currently serves as a member of the Libertarian Party's judicial committee.[3][4][5][6] Supreme is known for wearing a boot as a hat and carrying a large toothbrush,[7] and has said that if elected President of the United States, he will pass a law requiring people to brush their teeth.[4][8][9][10] He has campaigned on a platform of zombie apocalypse awareness and time travel research,[11] and promised a free pony for every American.

RE: Protest Voting
I love Supreme, not just for his artistic style and message, but because he knows how absurd this whole damn thing is.

RE: Protest Voting
The situation is so dire that anyone in the US who doesn't vote for Mao Ze Biden is sadly voting for Trump. That's how it works. Pick one. By not picking Biden, or not voting, you automatically endorse Trump.

RE: Protest Voting
In a perfect world I would vote 3rd party. Because I dislike the 2 party system. However, for myself, the last two elections I voted for the Democrat. It is beyond me why anyone would waste their vote in what is considered to be such a critical election. Sadly I think that's what happens when people take things like our Democracy for granted. I'm going to upset someone with this state, but I honestly believe voting 3rd party this year is selfish.

By voting you are endorsing the whole sham that "your vote matters".

Nope. It doesn't.

These elections were bought and paid for years ago...
