I kept an encrypted Excel spreadsheet with my login and passwords for my regularly visited sites. Every time I update it I mail a copy to myself. I also mail the password to another site. You would have to be very good at word search to figure it out.

I have a password manager and a passphrase for it and other ... security stuff levied towards the password manager. Everything else I keep written down. I don't trust computers/smartphones that much.
