I don't "hang out around people who make fun of my religion"; Atheistforums.org provide solid grounds for me to stay away from people making fun of my faith.
No one is interested in what the Quran really says.

You aren't winning converts here.

Your cherry-picked verses detract NOTHING from all the bullshit done in its name. That's not an aberration - that's a function of it.

By being here your are going against that your religion teaches - what your holy book commands.

Therefore, I don't find you to be terribly believable when you decide you should be the one to instruct us, or anyone else.

Lets focus on the last line in your post above.

Show anyone here where you were forced to sign up to this website and post here? Nobody said you were forced by law to hang out with people you don't like. So why are you here? Just because you are not face to face with us, you still are "hanging out" with us.

I was bullied as a kid, in my case I had nowhere to go. I had to live in the house my parents provided me. I also had to go outside  by myself, to walk to school or to the bus stop. I had got bullied on the bus, and at school, both things I had no choice in.

But you are an adult, and I find it logically absurd that an allegedly "all powerful" being would need the help of any mere mortal to defend it. If your alleged god were real, it should be quite easy for it to squash me like a bug without your help.

Now again, I make the same argument to Christians and Jews too. I find such an alleged being petty if it's biggest concern is being called names, in a world of childhood cancer, childhood famine, natural disasters, and pandemics. If I were an "all powerful" God, the last fucking thing I would worry about is being called names. And if I were all powerful, I damned sure wouldn't need or ask for humans to defend me.

So if some one 'Makes fun of' the belief system ( "How many Islamists does it take to change a light bulb?" )

You are happy to walk away? Cool.   Thumb up

What if some one is insulting towards your belief system, or calls aspects of its nature into question. ( "How many babies did Allah drown in the global  flood?" )

What is your take on things, then?   Thinking

Not at work.

Yes I'll just walk away and let them insult the faith; God has spoken and gave his command already in Sura 4, verse 140.

As for the "flood"; God is a creator of everything; so don't do "Anthropomorphism" with him or else you'll get everything wrong and you won't understand what he is.

God is not "human", he is not a "humanoid". You can't get angry with "the sun" for giving a child "a sun burn"; you can't get angry with "water" for drowning an infant. You just accept it, because no matter what you do these forces exist before you, they are stronger than you, they are your universe itself.

Allah is the creator of these forces. If the sun and water are so strong; what about their creator?

He described himself in the Quran here:

Quote:Sura 6, The Quran:
https://quran.ksu.edu.sa/index.php?l=en#...rans=en_sh

( 102 )   That is Allah, your Lord; there is no deity except Him, the Creator of all things, so worship Him. And He is Disposer of all things.
( 103 )   Vision perceives Him not, but He perceives [all] vision; and He is the Subtle, the Acquainted.

So... bascally what you're implying is that you're 'Worshipping' the Volcano/Tornado/Tidalwave generate/Solarflare spewer in the hope that it does not kill you?

Don't get me wrong. Am I miscarachterizing your diety? Your diety does/is the cause of such immense and devastating things, right?

All the while, other than your hopes and prayers, being powerless against said thing?

Thinking
Nope, I do not understand such mental processes on the part of worshipers.

Not at work.
