Brilliant!

I recently watched Season 2 of Discovery with Captain Pike.

The medical technology they show on discovery should have been able to fix most of the physical damage.

I loved Discovery season 2.
Watching season 3 now. (things are crazy, can't say, no spoilers)

As a fan of Patrick Steward, I was thinking about checking out ST: Picard

Anyone seen it yet?

It has its ups and downs. Fair warning it's a lot darker than any other Star Trek and it has a few weak episodes towards the middle. But overall I thought it was pretty good.

I feel the same way.  Wesley never bothered me.  Q, on the other hand, I hated that arrogant bastard, which shows you how good of an actor John de Lancie is.

The nefarious appeal of Q is why I hate the character that Q represents. Particularly in the ST:TNG episode True Q (s6e6).

Q's appeal is that's you hate him. It's kind of like Frank Burns from MASH. He was a jerk and you loved to hate him.

Was TNG the only show without a Vulcan officer aboard?
