That episode ending definitely pulled on my heartstrings.

I didn't like how they reintroduced her some seasons later. The death of the character of Tasha had an air of finality to it, and that, IMO, was perverted with that alternate timeline jazz episode. This Lazarus plot device is bloody annoying to me.

Anyone seen it yet?

Mot sure about it.

I haven"t seen it and I am a fan of Payrick Stewart, but the shorts I've seen give me doubts.

Did I see digital borg?

I honestly thought that was a bad episode.

Nerd alert, Eleven. There's an episode before that one where you'll see Tasha in the background as the other characters walk away and she is seen to wave.

That episode was filmed after she was killed off (because she asked to be written out since she didn't like the way female characters were portrayed. The same reason Crusher wasn't in season two).

What a weird end to season one.

Season two, Whoopi Goldberg.

And a new doctor.

I recently purchased it on DVD. I enjoyed it from start to finish and was pleasantly surprised when Seven of Nine appeared.  Great

I loved the final episode because it played a "4 aces" emphatic atheism card/conclusion, but unfortunately failed to enjoy the series due to it seeming as contrived as a marsupial jar of marmalade. PC Wokey wokey woke woke woke wokey wokey woke woke cliché have a scotch fail?

The season was definitely political, but honestly you could side with the "genocide makes sense" crowd as well.  Was Piccard a naive idealist that only won through dumb luck?  I mean, all life almost got wiped out because of his personal values.  I found it thought-provoking.

All Star Trek episodes are somewhat political. And yes it's thought-provoking to see Picard in a fish out of water scenario.
