As we endure the administration of the milquetoast Republican appeaser that the media likes to call a "liberal" president, I keep thinking about the things I would do as president. Putting MLK on some sort of dollar bill, the 50 or any other, would be an idea I'd endorse. I can't imagine how much the Tea Birchers would go nuts over me.

On the other hand, Theodore Roosevelt... just look at Edmund Morris' biographies of him. He effectively started government actions in conservation, and food safety, and was even the first president to invite a black person over for dinner at the White House, and, quite impressively for the time, did so on the logic of "Booker T. Washington's in town, and I liked "Up From Slavery," so I think I'll invite him over for dinner. And of course, he was a complete badass, and any Chuck Norris-style facts about him are likely to be only slightly exaggerated. It wasnt for the $50. grant actually helped black people get voted into congress. I think Roosevelt should be put on the $20 for his MANY contributions to American society. It would be humorous also to see the modern Republicans fight against Replacing a Democrat with a Progressive Republican on the $20 bill. I would love to see the tensions on both sides of the Republicrats.
