[Quranic Reflection]: moon absorbed by the sun in the Quran: far future.

If you claim the line means as stated in the OP, you need to show an old interpretation that states the sun will expand and consume the moon that was written prior to the scientific discovery.  Otherwise, this is a case of reinterpretation for the purpose of changing the original meaning.  Which of course, we all know it is.  Stop being silly.

That's about 600 million years out. About 400 million more years should do for the remaining plant life, not to mention runaway ocean evaporation.

The most likely way for our descendants, if we still have any, to still be around to witness the disintegration of the moon into a ring whose pieces eventually fall to earth will be from a safer distance farther out in the solar system.

The Quran stated that humans will be resurrected in an environment different from the one existed today:

And a desolate hellscape that can't support the survival of vertebrates fits the bill as far as you're concerned?
I'm not anti-Christian. I'm anti-stupid.

I would definitely allow it as proof of the divine if human beings we re-created to survive an engulfed earth - or a black hole - or an alien world a long time ago, in a galaxy far far away.

Bravo.

Trouble is, we're sitting here instead. You know how the abrahamic lot are with promises. The davidic king never came back to crush the rest of us under a cruel hebrew boot. Christ is MIA, presumed dead. The ummah collapsed like a flan in a cupboard. Now we're gonna get new bodies and a ticket to alpha centauri - jettison the bad eggs into a black hole en route? Better hurry up before elon beats you there...because I'd pay good money for that.

Even if one could demonstrate that this interpretation is what the writers of the Quran had in mind (which he can not): He still needs to demonstrate that the writers of the Quran knew what the fuck they were talking about.

I could tell the next time you roll a dice will be a "6", i could tell the next hundred times you roll a dice itll be a "6", and i could be fucking right, because you did roll a hundred "6"es, and still i could have pulled my claim out of my ass.

tl;dr
The fact that i am correct on anything i say doesnt mean i had any fucking clue about what i am saying.

It's not a bizarre interpretation, it's the main interpretation, dude.

Okay, okay, let's get serious. You muslims hanging your hat on this quranic miracle? If a magic book talked about the death of the sun, is that a powerful indication that so and so's gods exist and their religion is true?

..because..if so...I've got some bad news.

And trouble is, I have already told you that the current life - which is now- would end; and then we shall be resurrected again in a second life.

The first life is finite, the second life is infinite.

Praise Allah is an incorrect interpretation.

It's supposed to be stated as such: Praise all, ah!.
