I'm suprised nobody has made this point yet, well, maybe they have but i didn't get the chance to see the post. But since you used the term 'gods' instead of 'Gods' or 'God' we can also assume that you're referring to 'a man who has qualities regarded as making him superior to other men' according to the 4th definition in the English world dictionary. Therefore I'd like to say that Bill Gates, Richard Dawkins, among other men are 'gods' who are among us and quite real.
