It seems like way more work than simply yelling into a microphone.

And again -- why a surrogate voice?? He could have recorded his own voice at an earlier time.

Maybe he didn't want his voice out there thinking it would delay identification.  He also may have had everything set on a timer and offed himself before the actual explosion.  Just because they found bits of him doesn't mean the explosion is what killed him.

I am speculating too. Truth is, since he is dead, we may never know his motive.

But we do know he wanted some sort of attention, otherwise why go out in such a big fashion?

I do think maybe after some more investigation into his life, we might have more of an idea. But since his brains were blown all over the street we will never be able to interview him.

I don't think he ever intended himself to be the center of attention. I don't even think he ever imagined he was going to be found. I think he wanted the act to be the center of attention and his presence was simply a means to kill himself while he was at it. Alternatively, He may have wanted to be found but his identity remains a mystery. To be famous through the mystery of who he was.

I must disagree. This assumes he believed people would link his ownership of the RV to him being the bomber.
