That would have earned a backhand to the mouth at our house.  I was usually set to the task of retrieving tools that got dropped into small spaces...being the tiny one in a family of larger than average people...that's were my talent was.  I was also enlisted to help spay dogs...ether is an interesting first buzz.

I delivered newspapers, picked strawberries, worked in a computer store (early 1980's), breifly worked fast food, pumped gasoline, and put myself through college working as a prep cook at a Round Table Pizza, supplemented with the GI Bill.

I worked in reception and doing general dogsbody work at my Dad's clinic.

I didn't babysit, except for my little bother (not a mispell), because, even then, I didn't like kids.

I decided long ago that whenever I purchase a socket set, I will immediately throw away the 10mm. Why? Because that’s the one I always lose anyway and it saves me time looking for it.

Construction worker. My firs job was mixing concrete and wheelbarrow it into the construction frames, that my dad had put up. I was 11 years old.
