Okay.
still doing that.. i own 3 or 4 businesses depending on what you count...
I started out working on refrigerated truck vans and shipping containers and busses in like 93 or maybe 94
I learned this stuff fast. opened my first shop in 95 lasted 6 months, and failed. went to another brand of truck refrig. (only thermo king and carrier at the time in the whole country) that lasted a year till the owner of the first place (Thermo king dealer) i worked made me an offer to over see east coast mobile shop. worked that till 10-01. (they replaced me with owner nephew, I was super smart could diagnosis problems by listening over the phone and have people tell me is certain pipes were hot or not, but i was impossible to deal with apparently as i knew i was super smart and fixed shit right the first time, but they still paid me like a beginner, so it pissed me off and i trashed older slower mechanics.) So i was fired and fell into a partner who was the gm of the Carrier brand refrigeration company. He was fired same day (screwing a secretary or something) he said after 2 years he would make me a 50/50 partner. two years came and went.. and he didn't keep his promise.
i was looking for a way out and one of my customers or rather the owner (I knew who he was but i never seen the guy but maybe once in passing) walk out in his lot to a truck i was working on and offered me a 25,000 loan to go out on my own. so i started my 1st real company at 28 in 03. this was just doing mobile repair work on these vans. (while at home new wife was dealing with a 250 a day heroine addiction) So worked my ass off ( no shop just my service truck )and we got T-Rich cleaned up in 07 for the last time. in 08 my biggest account began to buy a 3rd brand of truck refrigeration (Zanotti). ask me to look at it because no dealers in the area would touch it. i looked at it figured it all ot and fixed it.. as it should have been under warranty i called the nearest dealer in Miami to bill him. they put me in contact with the home office in boston mass. they told me to come up to boston for a conference of dealers.. where the sales people were taught how to sell and the techs were taught how to fix them as they were from italy and no one had ever seen anything like them. so i went up did both, was pitched a franchise opportunity for 250k my wife and i were saving up to buy a house we had about 15k and i was holding off because i was afraid of the housing market collapsing.. so i told her rather than buy a house lets invest in this refrigeration brand.
they saw my ability in both class rooms and made me a special deal.. they took a cut of all parts and unit sales we made and any inventory not present in any one of 4 possible yearly visit i wrote a check for. i agreed.
this relationship went on till 2014 where they cheated me on a few deals along with my end of the R&D of the patented refrigeration system i developed for them. (this was the patent they had control over i had two other ideas one which i patented on my own) so i broke ties.
I then did not have a refrigeration system to sell or a refrigerated body to sell. so i researched developed my own. (had been researching this whole time/taking notes on how zanotti did things and the things that worked on the other refrigeration systems as well. So I began building various prototypes in my head and on paper.)
Then we started selling those.. a year later a 4th brand approached me to become a dealer. it cost the same for me to manufacture in house as it was to buy from them so bought from them as they had national warranty and a dealer netwqork to work with
in the beginning when i first started out i would build or work in my service truck in my drive way at home. the HOA would not allow me to do that. (Yes trailer parks have hoas) so i went to my dads house and worked out of his drive. then we started doing refrigeration installs we would rent this little one bay shop/quanzahut just big enough for one van and 2 guys to work.. then i found a semi trail shop that out of 10 bays we could rent two which was big enough for 4 vans about 1000 to 1500 sqft. then about the time i left zanotti for cheating us out of money i also lost the lease to my big truck shop, so i went to a friend i had made while working on the all electric reefer truck system. he owns the battery factory that supplied the refrigeration system we came up with with the batteries.. any way he has moved into a 100k sqft factory and still owned his old one. so he rented me a 5000 sqft corner of a 20k building which used to be his old factory. so my then second company built refrigeration systems there and my Mobil service at the time went off everyday to service the fleets of truck i amassed over the years.
i still up fit refrigerated trucks with my refrigeration company. this is my tesla. this is my back bone. anyone can bring me a van or truck. ( the other two refrigeration companie for example along with ford and chevy dealers) this company only insulates refrigerates vans. we since move up to a 10,000 foot space. as the building we are in was subdivided into two sections. the refrigeration company sits in the old battery factory production floor. 2/3 is manufacture and 1/3 is repair.
when it was just me building reefer vans i would market/get customers in line up the van purchase buy all the equipment assemble everything and when it came time to sell i would partner with a car lot to process the paper work. it use to cost me 1000 per van. which i was ok with.. then the dude got greedy and kept asking for more and more and more. so i got my dealer's license. the same one you use to buy vans and trucks is the same one we use for retail cars. so in the next town over i opened a used car lot. was going to put my dad in charge of that as he just retired at 68 with 30+
years as a county teacher. he never did anything with it, and died a year later. so i found a guy to run the lot and fix the cars.
this is the third company
A year ago the front 1/2 of the building became availed and we moved the car lot from the neighboring town to hear because it is a very nice part of central fl. lots of high end dealers and we are situated across from a Harley Davidson dealership.
we did take on outside auto repairs along we service the cars. in the front 1/2 of the building is a labyrinth of offices and rooms. i took a big corner office and made it my gunshop because i could no longer keep the mobile service truck staffed. it takes 2 years to train a normal guy. i can't be on the road anymore so i decided to open up something i could tend to in my spare time of it i needed to hire a seat warmer i could easily do so. that makes the gun shopnumber 4? and Trich has also branched off as we live on a small farm now and produces organic soaps, perserves yogurts and other canned goods. from the goat's milk duck/goose eggs, bees, wild berrys and honey we have on the farm.. she sells at the shop
here is a tour of the new building on move in day last year:
and then here is one of our refrigerated van insulation systems going together in under two mins. again my design my processes my inhouse builds.:
So i say that to say, I am more than able to do both.. I have people to repeat the things i have created and pioneered.. like it or not, i'm not the idiot you guys need me to be to feel comfortable in your rejections of me concerning my knowledge base or my belief in God. I am well read well research of my own doing and teaching. that is if you do not believe in god. I do and i know All of this is a gift not of my own work or doing but because god gave all of this to me. from the abiltiy to see and learn to the first out of the blue sky loan to the insight to the housing market fall/investment in refrigeration company to having zanotti put me in contact with my current landlord to being able to literally double my business profile every year since the beginning. stuff whether it be ideas or money or opportunity comes from the outside comes from strangers and all the pieces fit together. just like our van installs do.

Did you tell them about talking to angels? Or did you leave that part out? How about the addict(s) in the house...are they aware?
If you are in the guns game, I seriously doubt it's being done legally. You wouldn't even be able to correctly fill out a form.
they have access to my youtube account the same as you

They obviously didn't look at your postings on social media.
no social media check is apart of the deal.
