This is a Nonsequitur
One can be for allowing people across the border into their country while not personally housing them and anyone who pays taxes pays into the aid for migrants. What Abbot did however was just senseless cruelty to get at his political enemies.

Stop being a douche As I pointed out his argument is a non sequitur. It doesn't follow that being for people being allowed to flee into your country means you should have to house them personally. There are proper places and proper organizations for that.
