He found the use of the act as justifiable, but that it may not have been necessary had the situation been anticipated better by government and law enforcement. He also criticized the implementation of freezing assets of protestors.

Anyone who builds homes for poor people when he's old as hell, and swears off the Southern Baptist Church to boot, is a good man in my book. I know of a former president that I'd like to see Big Macs fired into its maw with a cannon.
If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.

Mr. Carter is choosing to end his life the way he lived it, with dignity and grace.

Texas 3rd grader finds gun superintendent left in school bathroom

A 3rd grader in Rising Star found a gun the superintendent left in a school bathroom.

Superintendent Robby Stuteville confirms the 3rd grader found the gun back in January and notified a teacher immediately without moving or touching the weapon.

Stuteville walked KTAB and KRBC through the incident, explaining that both he and the school principal open carry on campus.

When he was using the restroom, Stuteville says he took the gun off and placed it in a stall, where it was then left unattended for around 15 minutes until it was found by the student.

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

First president I got to vote for at 18.

Salt Lake City could become the first climate change-driven abandoned city in the US. The lake is disappearing rapidly bringing toxic dust into the urban environment. It’ll ultimately be a climate disaster zone.
