Just saw it this morning. I was multi tasking so I get it. And fyi my name is Brian although people mistakenly spell it Bryan. And there are two spellings for Payton/Peyton. 

Point is it is part of American history and a shame it got destroyed.

It isn’t segregation. Think of them as working focus groups. An affinity group is usually better able to delineate a problem and offer solutions than a more diverse group, whose members may have different standards and goals.

For example, imagine an organization wants to address the issue of substandard housing among the Black segment of a community. You’re more likely to get actionable ideas from an eight-member Black affinity group that a group made up of two Blacks, two Whites, two Hispanics and two Pacific Islanders. 

If you’re designing a bridge, you hire engineers, not bakers.

Texas passes heartbeat/lawsuit anti abortion bill. Part of it says that even the person offering transportation to a clinic can be sued. 

In related news(ironic joke to follow) Biden orders air transport for those who want to leave Texas.
