I am disappointed the settlement didn't include an on-air apology and admission of wrong-doing; but that negotiation would probably have reduced their payday. Hopefully the loss will weaken Fox. In my business someone who cost the company a tiny fraction of this amount of money would be on the chopping block. You don't want to cost more than they pay you.

Gamers Encouraged Not to Commit War Crimes in ‘Fortnite’ Mode Designed by Red Cross

The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is asking gamers to follow the rules of war when they’re murdering friends and enemies in Fortnite, Call of Duty: Warzone, and Escape from Tarkov. “Play by the rules,” a website set up by the ICRC says. “How you play FPS makes a difference on battlefields IRL.”

To spread awareness of the laws of armed conflict, the ICRC has teamed up with streamers to show how challenging it is to follow the rules while playing games like PubG and Rainbow 6: Siege.

“Every day, people play games set in conflict zones right from their couch. But right now, armed conflicts are more prevalent than ever,” the website said. “And to the people suffering from their effects, this conflict is not a game. It destroys lives and leaves communities devastated. Therefore, we’re challenging you to play FPS by the real Rules of War, to show everyone that even wars have rules—rules which protect humanity on battlefields IRL.”

And, if I'm hearing right, Fox doesn't have to apologise, retract, or correct their disinformation.

And no one gets sacked.

Dominion should have said they'd settle for 700 and the heads, figuratively (or not), of Tucker and any/everyone else who lied about them on air.

MyPillow founder and prominent election denier Mike Lindell made a bold offer ahead of a “cyber symposium” he held in August 2021 in South Dakota: He claimed he had data showing Chinese interference and said he would pay $5 million to anyone who could prove the material was not from the previous year’s U.S. election.

He called the challenge “Prove Mike Wrong.”

On Wednesday, a private arbitration panel ruled that someone had.

The panel said Robert Zeidman, a computer forensics expert and 63-year-old Trump voter from Nevada, was entitled to the $5 million payout.

Zeidman had examined Lindell’s data and concluded that it not only did not prove voter fraud, it had no connection to the 2020 election. He was the only expert who submitted a claim, arbitration records show.

He turned to the arbitrators after Lindell Management, which created the contest, refused to pay him.

In their 23-page decision, the arbitrators said Zeidman proved that Lindell’s material “unequivocally did not reflect November 2020 election data.” They directed Lindell’s firm to pay Zeidman within 30 days.

I was thinking it will either go up or go boom... seems like it did both!

Watching the live feed from Spacex, it seems 5 of the engines didn't light, don't think that caused the problem though, the two stages didn't separate.. used the wrong type of glue!
Still not sure if it just exploded or if they used the self destruct system.
