Apparently, some members of Team Trump are floating plans to make Trump, should he win in November, an effective board member of the Federal Reserve, with power to fire the Chairman without cause.

She probably should have posed this question a different way. Specifically using the example of an uncooperative Supreme Court just so any of the conservative judges who might seriously consider giving Trump the sort of immunity he wants realise how much of a "Leopards Eating Faces" position they'd be in if they did so.

Even Trump doesn't believe he's innocent of the myriad charges against him. He's not pushing for immunity because he's innocent, he's pushing for immunity because he wants the right to be a criminal.

In what may be the ultimate irony, Tennessee is going to allow teachers to carry firearms in schools, provided they:

-Maintain a valid carry permit
-Submit two sets of fingerprints
-Pass state and federal background/criminal history checks
-Receive psychological/psychiatric evaluation from a licensed healthcare provider
-Complete 40 hours of certified training in school policing and firearm safety
-Have all of the above signed off by the school principal, the district school superintendent, and the chief of the appropriate law enforcement agency.

This only applies to teachers. Shouldn’t it apply to anyone who wants to play Wyatt Earp?
