Right, for opening the doors to the capitol, and guiding some people throughout the building. It all depends on whose video you get to see doesn't it?

Maybe you should show this to your Aunt Fanny’s bum (it’s from the US Code)

Quote:insurrection n

: the act or an instance of revolting esp. violently against civil or political authority or against an established government
;also
: the crime of inciting or engaging in such revolt [whoever incites, sets on foot, assists, or engages in any rebellion or against the authority of the United States…shall be fined not more than $10,000 or imprisoned not more than ten years

They only opened the doors to deescalate the situation  as they didn't have enough staff to hold the building and already been overwhelmed outside so no it doesn't depend on the video you see as every video confirms this fact. Though there were officers who were sympathetic to the rioters they were not acting with sanction of their organization and they were disciplined for it. Also just ignore all the videos of the rioters breaking in and attacking the barricades I guess.

The Nazis rewrote history, and altered what happened in the Munich beer hall putsch, to create the false legend of Hitler's "heroism".

I was thinking that perhaps you're dropping the ball here, and missing an opportunity? Maybe you could be embellishing your Fuhrer's "heroic" role on Jan 6th? Instead of downplaying it as a jolly old sightseeing trip of the capitol gone awry, you could try inserting Herr Trump at the vanguard, stripped to the waist, and draped in a US flag, blood pouring from the many wounds inflicted on this peace loving man, fighting for democracy?

If you're going to lie, at least lie big...follow Trump's example. If history teaches us anything, it's that the sheeple will believe almost anything, the more spectacular the lie, the more they lap it up. I mean look at the Jesus myth...

Quote:Social media giant Meta on Tuesday announced a series of changes to its content moderation policies, including the elimination of its fact-checking program, in what CEO Mark Zuckerberg said was an effort to embrace free speech.

“We’re going to get back to our roots and focus on reducing mistakes, simplifying our policies and restoring free expression on our platforms,” Zuckerberg said in a video posted Tuesday morning.

“More specifically, here’s what we’re going to do. First, we’re going to get rid of fact checkers and replace them with community notes similar to X, starting in the U.S.”

The changes mark a major move for the parent company of Instagram and Facebook and follows a series of other changes the company has made in recent weeks as President-elect Trump heads into his second term later this month.

Zuckerberg cited the recent election as a driving force in the company’s decision, slamming “governments and legacy media” as pushing the company to “censor more and more.”

“The recent elections also feel like a cultural tipping point towards, once again, prioritizing speech,” he said. “So we’re gonna get back to our roots and focus on reducing mistakes, simplifying our policies and restoring free expression on our platforms.”

I see that Congress certified Donald Trump as the winner of the last election. The riots were conspicuous by their absence.

No, they've made it clear that they want to charge them for stopping people from getting in.

Breaking down doors, climbing up walls and in through windows is how I always enter a building.  Just a personal choice...no ill intent at all.
