Is the Acer Aspire 5 a good laptop, and will it last long?

I don't have any experience with a Laptop computer. I think Acer makes decent laptops, but I have no idea their service support. I'm thinking about Acer Aspire 5 to buy. What do you think? I hope that experts will advise me of their valuable information and guideline.

I know this is a bit of a stretch, but have you considered asking this question at a forum devoted to laptops? Or, do you reserve you questions about atheism for those sites?!?

OLPC XO is a great laptop and it even has a crank that can be turned into pedals so you don't have to charge it in the electric wall socket and depend on paying electric bills.
