RE: Have you read these books?
I'm not going to go through all those again but I think my count was around 30 so I guess I'm a few standard deviations above norm, if the center is 6 out of 100. Also, the quirk that "Chronicles of Narnia" and one of the books from that series, "The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe", are part of the same list, amuses me.

I love how they list the whole works of Shakespeare as one "book" too.

I do find it amusing to see the bible listed with all the other works of fiction.

RE: Have you read these books?
I've actually ready only 20/100, seen the movie of only 39

Seen the movie of only 39. I've been more of a genre reader; Sci fi,historical fiction and thrillers.Today I read almost exclusively history

I have a cunning plan---- This week,I'm going into a major book shop and choosing some good books. Then I'm going on lien to "The Book Depository" So far their prices have been between 50-70% cheaper than I can get them locally (free postage too)

To start, I'm after some by A N Wilson and Peter Ackroyd.--Here they are $50 each in hard cover ,about $40 in soft cover.
