I exaggerated everything. That is, I have multiplied everything.

Most of the cost of the war in Afghanistan has been paid to the American people and capitalists, and has led to American economic prosperity.
It is not like wars between Middle Eastern countries where war causes money to leave the country.

A few posts ago, you said the US paid $40 billion for gasoline, now it’s $200 billion. Are you just making this up as you go along?

I have said that I do not think $ 200 billion has been spent on fuel, but I think it would be a maximum of $ 40 billion to $ 50 billion.

Are we going to include the cost of the shit the Army built for themselves? Like the 64,000-square foot army HQ that cost $25 million and was never used? What about the cost of research and development for new technology used, like their drone warfare? All those wonderful toys the military likes to bring out in public cost a shitton of money. While they managed to build almost no infrastructure for the Afghan citizens, they managed to build quite a bit for themselves, and a lot of it was never even necessary.

Never underestimate the ability of the U.S. Military to siphon off money for unnecessary shit. You can argue that shit like the 64,000-square foot building were examples of government officials stealing and not part of the official war effort, but the fact remains: it was still earmarked for use in the war effort and even if they were spent on shit useless to it, it was still spent as part of it.

Oh, it's way worse than you think. Check out this link: https://watson.brown.edu/costsofwar/costs/economic

And I don't believe the government ever includes the continued healthcare of wounded veterans in this cost.

What you said was

So, not only are you lousy at arithmetic, you’re a clumsy liar as well.

I don't really care what this clown thinks anyway. If you just step back from the wars of the last 20 years and look at the military budget published by the US Government, it hovers around $600 - 700 Billion each year. Just taking the average, since 2000 that sum comes to over $13 Trillion. And that's just what they include in the defense budget. A lot of spending gets categorized as other things to make it look less horrifying. No matter how you look at it; I could have bought a lot of tamales for that money and really, is the region any better today?

They don't count that because they weasel out of as much of it as they can.
