Doesn't matter whether or not I have, or you have. No god has.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Yeah, but it's a strong feeling. Let's put it this way......if I were to record an album, and I was compiling a "Thanks to (insert name here)" list of people who helped me make the album, or inspired the album in some way, I would feel bad not including God.

That's actually really offensive.......God does include me, I know He does. You are just not a faithful person, so you wouldn't understand.

What's the difference between a strong feeling and knowing?

People certainly allow their emotions to dictate their behaviors and actions.  This is probably the default mode for most humans.  It takes real restraint to ignore emotions and think clearly, critically.  There are tons of books and courses on how to do this very thing because generally, allowing emotions to drive your behavior is detrimental to your life.  It leads to impulsivity and poor decision making based on too little information or bad information.  Are you a fan of Trump?  Trump ONLY thinks with his emotions and this is pretty easy to demonstrate.  Other than his lapdog followers, most people acknowledge how foolish Trump's behaviors and decision making are.  His primary emotions are fear and greed and this drives most of his life.  Now, if you want to say that you are driven by love and compassion for others then you may be on the right path.  But let's be real here.  Unless you've surpassed some serious milestones in your career or life, you are probably not being honest about the significance of what you've accomplished in life.

I have an experience of my own that could easily be interpreted as supernatural and would be happy to share it if you are interested and open to understanding, but I don't want it belittled in any way.

OK, giant can of worms just opened.  I've trod through some very lengthy threads about knowing vs. believing, which in this case is probably the same as feeling.  I read the Republic to get some understanding.  It's a big topic.

In my mind, there is no difference.

But there is a gigantic difference.  Are you not aware of cases in which people claimed they knew something but were later proved wrong?  Have you never felt something, perhaps very strongly, only to later find out it wasn't real or true at all?

Yes, and it was very much true and real while it was happening.

No, that doesn't satisfy the question.  I asked had you ever felt something and later found out it was NOT true, meaning it was FALSE when you felt it?  IOW, you "knew" something to be true when it was actually false.  I can give you an example if that helps you understand the question.

Let me put it this way.......my official diagnosis (in real life), is bipolar disorder, because that's the closest thing to the truth, according to my psychiatrist. Now, if my psychiatrist decided schizophrenia was a more fitting diagnosis, then that would be the closest thing to the truth. So truth is an evolving thing. What is true today, might not be true tomorrow.
