[Quranic Reflection]: Quran vs Hadith- why the Hadith is false

RE: [Quranic Reflection]: Quran vs Hadith- why the Hadith is false
It’s so cute watching Winter and Kloro argue. Kind of like when Potter nerds and Tolkien nerds spat over Dumbledore vs Gandalf.

Well, here we go again. The same method of verification used for the quran was used for hadith. To doubt the one casts doubt on the other because they are equivalently composed and vouchsafed.

John got it from Steve who heard it from Phil whose step-brother was married to Grant the son of Jerry who overheard the prophet say.......
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

This is the first sensible post you have made.  Perhaps there's hope after all.

Hope springs eternal…huh?

Essentially he got the message than neither muslims nor non-muslims are interestied in his drivel, and that didnt light up some neurons in his brain?

Some implies >0.

For what it's worth, I think Quranism is a step in a better direction. Many of the worst parts of Islamism come from Hadiths, like the age of Muhammed's wife Aisha, which is used as a justification for child marriage in some Sunni-dominated countries. OTH, I think Marcionism was a step in a better direction for Christians, and look what happened to them.
I'm not anti-Christian. I'm anti-stupid.

The irony is that many (I’m tempted to say ‘most’) Christians today are Marcionists in a broad, practical sense. Marcion rejected the OT out of hand, while modern Christers do so by claiming that the salvation offered by Jebus negates all those uncomfortable bits.

The Hadith contains hideous parts belonging to some sick mentalities that ruled the Ummah; Muslims forget that only 500 years ago the world was so different and Islamic empires had civil wars; each with their own religious doctrines claiming to be "Islamic".

Sunna and Shia are the most famous remaining factions from that civil war. Even today they fight and bomb each other when the chance arises.

Maybe miracles do exist, how else can you explain anyone surviving the oxygen being cut off to their brain for this long?

RE: [Quranic Reflection]: Quran vs Hadith- why the Hadith is false
So Muslims who pray five times a day are not true Muslims because only Hadiths tell them to pray five times a day, and Hadiths are false so they are infidels.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Fine question to be honest.

What I found in the Quran is the order to Mohammed PBUH to pray according to this timeframe:

Quote:Surah 11, The Quran:
https://quran.com/11:114?store=false&translations=

(114) And establish prayer at the two ends of the day and at the approach of the night. Indeed, good deeds do away with misdeeds. That is a reminder for those who remember.

— Saheeh International

And in another verse God stated:

Quote:Sura 17, The Quran:
https://quran.com/17:78?store=false&translations=

(78) Establish prayer at the decline of the sun [from its meridian] until the darkness of the night1 and [also] the Qur’ān [i.e., recitation] of dawn.2 Indeed, the recitation of dawn is ever witnessed.

— Saheeh International

Thus; the times mentioned according to the verses are:

1-Decline of the sun from its meridian (middle of the day)
2-The darkness of the night
3-The dawn

All the other times mentioned was stated in the Hadith; not the Quran.

Though these are the times I pray only, since prayer is mandatory on a Muslim as this verse stated:

Quote:Surah 4, The Quran:
https://quran.com/4:103?store=false&translations=

(103) When the prayers are over, remember Allah—whether you are standing, sitting, or lying down. But when you are secure, establish regular prayers. Indeed, performing prayers is a duty on the believers at the appointed times.

— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran

It's a duty, more like regular meditation sessions, healing if you ask me.
