[Quranic Reflection]: Quran vs Hadith- why the Hadith is false

Nah it's more like the threat a mob boss gives you. The idea it's your choices and not the malevolence of a god that leads to hell is absurd.

That would only be true if hell actually existed.  It's fucking ludicrous to conceive of a wise, compassionate god creating such a place.  It's obviously a human invention, specifically an invention designed to terrify people into complying with religious authorities, and in my opinion anyone who employs it is automatically guilty of uttering threats.

In the Old Norse tradition, beliefs aren't important.  Behaviour is everything.  The traditional path to Valhalla is honourable, courageous action, not worshipping the Æsir and Vanir.  (My ancestors also didn't believe in an afterlife with eternal torture, and there were more possibilities than Valhalla versus Niflheim.)
And if it were true the idea it's like either of his examples rather than intentional act by obviously cruel being is aberrant  Dodgy

But that didn't help them to become peaceful people; the Vikings were nothing more but waves of drunken marauders ravaging people on the other shore; and whoever retreats or have a tiny drop of compassion for the victims of the massacres done by the horde of vikings is deemed "unworthy" and goes to Niflheim !

Take your pick between religions of terrorism like the Viking faith; and between Islam that states there shall be no compulsion in the acceptance of religion.

If you die in battle, you go to Valhalla, where you party with your fellow warriors and the gods.

If you die in battle, you go to heaven, where you party with manufactured virgins and jinni.

I don't buy either line, and have made much tougher decisions.

If you think that not worshipping Norse gods keeps a person out of Valhalla, then I think you just don’t know what you don’t believe in.

: Shrugs :

In mere reality, there are many more ways to get into Viking heaven, and Viking good graces….than there are in magic book. Big Mo was a small minded hateful cunt. Even for a warlord of the time.

Notice….though, that no Viking is threatening abrahamics with a torture palace in the sky. That’s your thing. It’s just you dipshits.

False. A lot of my people did go "a-viking" but not all of us. Some were explorers (including Erik the Red and his son Leif Erikson - possibly distant relatives of mine). Some stayed home and did the usual things - raising livestock, subsistence farming, baking, fishing, weaving).

One interesting hypothesis that I've heard, but which I've been unable to confirm, is that the Scandinavian people turned militant in retaliation for attacks by Christian invaders from the south.

And it's pretty fucking hypocritical for you to point at Scandinavia when the history of Islamic atrocities continues to the present day. We got better. What's your excuse?

Firstly, there is no such thing as 'the Viking faith'. 'Viking' is an occupation, not a people or a society (it's the modern version of an Old English word that best translates as 'pirate').

Second, and more importantly, you continue to be an idiot.
