Good call.

Lucky me - I always have my .380 in my pocket.... It will administer a coup de grace to the head quite nicely.

( hasn' t yet.... Last couple were with .32 H+R mag....)

That probably wouldn't go over to well in my travel zone.

Here in the boonies it' s par the course.

We used to have to call the county boys to come out and issue a roadkill permit. They did away with that requirement. In the days when a deputy showed up- we by law have to announce we have a permit and are carrying. 9 times out of 10 the deputy would have us dispatch the deer - so they didn' t have to clean their weapon....

Now it' s honor system. They don' t mind you taking the deer - only seems fair if they messed up your car....

Payback is getting to eat SOB that damaged you and/or your vehicle.
If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.

Because yes, roads and humans, in general, would be so much safer if there weren't any animals around.

No, and just....... NO! ^^^^^^^^^^^ Just referring to the picture.

Why do humans do stupid crap like this?

Pictures like this remind me of that show "Fatal Attractions". It was a show based on real police and M.E. reports where humans interact with dangerous animals and or keep them as pets.

Cobras are not good pets, Komodo Dragons are not good pets either, and any park ranger if they saw this, would jack slap them for doing such.

Ultimately, no animal is a ‘good pet’, it’s just that some are more dangerous than others.

Dogs - high maintenance, emotionally needy.

Cats - best case scenario, they crap in your house.

Fish - boring.

Birds - smarter than people and not shy about letting you know it.

Rodents - they’re fucking RODENTS.

Rabbits - see under ‘cats’.

Yea, but I am not worried about my cat buying dozens' of long guns and going up into a hotel and murdering over 50 concert goers.

But I certainly as hell would not be feeding wild Bison through my car window knowing they are big enough win a Smash Up Derby.

Oh and hell yes birds are smarter than people. Back in my college days, I went to a beach in Clearwater FA. I bought lunch at a beachside burger stand. Bought my burger's and fries went to the outdoor umbrella covered table, but went back to pick up napkins, only to see my burger flying off in the air being carried by a osprey. Too bad I didn't see the restaurant's sign before hand which basically said the establishment does not give refunds or replacements for wildlife stealing your food.

Oh and, Australia, magpies do not give a shit, they are ninjas. If you eat outside in Australia, and they are around, you have to be on your game because they are sneaky little fuckers.

You have a poor understanding of magpies. Most magpies don’t interact with people at all, and the ones that do only do it in the spring.

Your lack of comprehension does not constitute an emergency on my part.

But if you insist, the point is, humans can be stupid, be it with interacting with wildlife, or anything in life.

My original reaction to that picture was simple. WHY THE F are they doing that?

Just like, why would a bar that serves booze allow firearms?

Because humans can be stupid.

Just like why does anyone like ABBA?

I comprehend you all too well.

Yes, humans can be stupid. ‘Physician, heal thyself.’

How do you know those people weren’t feeding the bison out of self preservation? Maybe the bison walked up and said, ‘Nice SUV. Be a shame if someone were to crush it like a pizza box in a trash compactor. Give us your graham crackers.’

Bars that serve booze allow firearms in case someone looks at you funny. Duh.
