Sat down to do some sewing and looked for something to watch and up popped 'A Chorus Line' as a recommendation...yes, please. I can always watch that movie.

Forrest Gump
<insert profound quote here>
‘It’s A Wonderful Life’. Sweet, sappy, silly premise, and it’s got an angel in it.
I can’t not watch it. Boru

What is a guilty pleasure movie? I have heard it defined as a film that is disliked by a lot/most people but which you enjoy, even though it can be described as objectively bad.
...by that definition, my guilty pleasure movie is the third Sam Raimi Spiderman movie with Topher Grace as Venom.
Mine are comedies. The Pythons, Mel Brooks, Harold Ramis, Kevin Smith. Can't pick just one.
I don't have an anger problem, I have an idiot problem.

Musicals are so not my normal choice for movies but there is just something about 'A Chorus Line' that I really like. It's a thing I share with my oldest. In fact, she's on a bus on the way to a band thing in San Antonio and I had to text her that I was watching it. “If you are the smartest person in the room, then you are in the wrong room.” — Confucius (November 6, 2021 at 1:09 pm)brewer Wrote: Mine are comedies. Mel Brooks is NOT a guilty pleasure - he is a comedic genius of the first water and you, my friend, will smoke a turd in hell for suggesting otherwise. Boru
