[Serious] That Trans Thread
RE: That Trans Thread
That's great parenting when you allow your kids to dress as they want and not make a fuss about it. But they can do it because they are rich so other people won't harass them for stuff like that.

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Swimming has to be one of the strangest sports to flex on some anti trans business. One wonders whether actual aberration michael phelps should have been barred from competing with the normies?

Anti-trans? It's because of people like you that transphobia is a meaningless term at this point that basically if you ask 100 people, they will have 100 different definitions of the word. If your definition is the one we are taking as gold, then I would call myself a proud transphobe. The term transphobia is becoming about as useless as the term Islamophobia, and the activists are using the same tricks the Muslim supremacists are using. If you take issue with parts of the Quran, you're Islamophobic. If you criticize anything Muhammad did during his life, again, you're Islamophobic. The trancel culture cult has basically copied their playbook. JK Rowling is supposedly bigoted for speaking up about trans women r wording and impregnating cis women in prison. Yeah, between the trans impregnator and JK Rowling, JK Rowling is clearly the bad guy in this situation, eh? How is this any different than Muslim supremacists telling us not to make a fuss about FGM or child brides and to stop being Islamophobic by talking about it?

For me, anti-trans simply means that you don't like trans people and you don't accept their lifestyle. If people just lack understanding but still accept the lifestyle trans people choose, they are cool in my book and not transphobes. They don't need to be experts on the issue. They don't even need to truly understand that a trans man is a man and a trans woman is a woman. They're not genociding trans people out of existence by not fully understanding them.

I.A., you are meandering all around like a drunk person talking about several subjects and people.

Aside from cancel culture, JK Rowling said many hateful things about trans women, saying that they are not women and how there is a large amount of hate towards them among real women (supposedly she is one of them). So Rowling is the one spreading cancel culture toward trans women.

A woman can be defined in terms of one's biological sex but also in terms of one's gender. Apparently, JK Rowling is of the opinion that one's sex and one's gender are universally synonymous? I'm asking, because, I am not sure what her position is, other than the fact that she is wishy-washy.

Her position? There was a talk about her position on page 12 of this topic, so I'll just paste it here again

Quote:JK Rowling blasts Sir Keir Starmer for saying ‘trans women are women’

Her criticism came after the opposition leader said: “A woman is a female adult and, in addition to that, trans women are women, and that is not just my view — that is actually the law.”

But the author hit back writing: “I don’t think our politicians have the slightest idea how much anger is building among women from all walks of life at the attempts to threaten and intimidate them out of speaking publicly about their own rights, their own bodies and their own lives.

“Now Keir Starmer publicly misrepresents equalities law, in yet another indication that the Labour Party can no longer be counted on to defend women’s rights. But I repeat: women are organising across party lines, and their resolve and their anger are growing.”

She seems very upset by the mere existence of trans women.

Divide and conquer. The existence of trans women perceived to be competitors for marginal space is a useful towards the goal of keeping that space as marginal as possible.

Trancel culture was the original subject I brought up in the thread, so I'm just bringing it back to that by responding to Nudge's accusation of "anti-trans". Even if you put JK Rowling aside, I personally think trans women are women, and I was attacked just the same as JK Rowling for saying that cis women getting r worded and impregnated in prison is worthy of note. The response I got was, like I said before, similar to that of a Muslim extremist who isn't going to tolerate hearing about FGM, and I was told that I hate trans people for even talking about it, and a few posters basically said that women getting r worded and impregnated in prison is acceptable because they could get r worded by a bio woman too, which of course is the exact same thing. Like I said before, it's a cult, and if you break even one tenant of the faith, you get burned at the stake. Yes, people going on about trans in bathrooms are being way over the top, but something like a prison is a whole other story, as you're stuck with the people around you, and SA will happen.

Basically the mantra is "trans women are women", which is a true statement, but the activists use this language in very manipulative ways at times. Like sports for instance. "Trans women are women" is simply just not a valid argument when it comes to sports, because there are different sub groupings of women, and the activists I think know that they are using manipulative language here to try and prove their point. It's irrelevant that trans women are women when it comes to sports, because women's sports were not created because of anything to do with identity or gender, but rather sex. I think JK Rowling is worried that if she concedes to the points that I have conceded to, about trans women being women or whatever else, that it will just make things easier for the activists to argue for throwing cis women under the bus or not taking their concerns into account because their concerns are going to be taken less seriously, because trans women have the trump card of threatening to kill themselves if we don't give into their demands, and cis women really have no card they can throw down to really compete with that.

How many trans women come up to you, on a daily basis, and threaten to kill themselves unless you personally let them play sports?

I still do not understand her position; in particular, what does she want changed about UK law?
