Kyle Rittenhouse Trial
#31
RE: Kyle Rittenhouse Trial
One guy was running in the middle of the crowded street with a rifle which scared some people, so some tried to do something and got killed. Two people got killed and can not testify, one got wounded but had a gun and therefore he "incriminated" himself because he ran with a gun - it seems that there could never be a good guy with a gun.

I guess what is most disturbing (besides killing two people) is that people should tolerate other heavily armed people in the street as if there is nothing unusual going on. When you see someone running with a rifle in the crowded street, you shouldn't look at it differently than someone pushing a stroller or eating a bagel.

Of course, it was stupid of them to just try to take away a rifle from an armed person, but what do they know. They are civilians.

Is Rittenhouse guilty? It seems he was looking for trouble. If I take "my daddy's gun" and start waving with it in the theater before the movie begins, I am looking for trouble, let alone if I do the same with a rifle in a street full of people.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

There can be good guys with guns, but only if they're white supremacist nuts. Like Kyle...that is, after all, his defense. The cops recently executed a guy for an identical crime to make that point. Got cheers for it at rallies.

Mike Reinoehl, said he was providing security for blm, shot aaron danielson at a pro trump rally, claimed his friend was about to be shot.

Quote:“We sent in the US Marshals, took 15 minutes and it was over. Fifteen minutes and it was over. They got him. They knew who he was. They didn’t want to arrest him, and 15 minutes, that ended.”

Turns out it took less than that, no knock, no commands. Pewpewpew. See, we can do it when we want to. They just didn't want to in Kyle's case. Here, let JD Vance explain it.

Quote:If we don’t defend this young boy who defended his community when no one else was, it may very well be your baby boy that they come for. It’ll be your children whose lives they try to destroy when no one else is defending their communities.

Quote:This entire trial, this entire farce is an indictment on every institution in our society.

Quote:It’s an indictment of our disgusting president who called him a white supremacist even though he only shot other white people. It’s an indictment of our media which slandered and bullied a 17-year-old boy. I haven’t seen anything that disgusts me with the leaders of this country like this ridiculous farce of a trial.

He even managed to say the quiet part out loud.

Quote:I think it suggests that justice in this country is no longer about equal justice under Law. It’s all political.

He witnessed a guy trying to wrestle away his rifle.

Then he pointed a pistol at him at point blank range.

So only the lefty is entitled to self defense?

All evidence indicates you got that one backwards...but you're a consistently backward nut, I suppose. If a white supremacist can't shoot his way out of any danger he created, then obviously that's the end of america.

I think you can miss us with this ridiculous shit. One crying nazi per thread is more than enough.

Wasn't a possible active shooter..was an actual active shooter. That's really just a pleasant euphemism, though. If you show up at a tense situation armed and looking to use your weapon, outside of official government sanction, you're an enemy combatant at best. If you're there to intimidate civilians, you're a terrorist. If you open fire in service to your political ideology, you're an insurgent.

What we're seeing is the answer to the question posed to charlie kirk. These nuts want to know when they can start using their guns. Now, apparently.

You know, say what you will about Drich, even if he did have some noxious and asinine views, they seemed to at least be sincerely held noxious and asinine views. With Biker, half the time, he's talking shit so blatantly that it's difficult to believe he even believes anything but "own the libs at all costs, even if it doesn't make any fucking sense." And if you try to grasp what he actually believes, he throws a hissy fit.
