Can America ever truly pay for its sins?
#81
RE: Can America ever truly pay for its sins?
It may be a graduate level field of study but it has implications outside of academia. Groups like BLM get their ideas from it and look what a mess it is. These people will never achieve anything in terms of ending racism and likely will end up creating more racism. They're clowns, psychopaths and charlatans.

What do you honestly think the US would look like in 10 years if these people had their way?

And I thought you said CRT is not a thing. Now it is? Make up your mind.

Your idea of crt is not a thing. You've been conned, just like a bunch of americans. Does that concern you?
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

It concerns me that CRT exists at all. What a garbage and divisive ideology.

You don't even know what crt is...though. Is that a problem?

This....
Quote:CRT for example is just not an objective or even fair take on history or current events. It's more ideology than facts. For instance, it makes the false assumption that any disparity in outcome is proof of discrimination. Individual choices or other circumstances don't seem to be factored in. Intersectionality is purely ideological to me, I don't believe you can lump all these different groups (blacks, trans, women, atheists) together and somehow assume their issues are similar.

CRT is extremely myopic in its analysis of let's say encounters between cops and black suspects. Take for example the George Floyd case. It's clear that the cop Derek Chauvin used excessive force and that cops in the US seem to be poorly trained to handle a suspect going through some kind of drug crisis. But there's no proof that he was motivated by hatred of black people. Advocates of CRT don't consider that maybe Chauvin has an inherently violent personality or that he simply lost patience with a difficult suspect. That wouldn't be a good excuse, but it would show he wasn't racist.
......not crt.

...if you'd like to get your info from someone other than a racist dipshit..why not try these guys? They might know a thing or two about it.

Quote:CRT grew from Critical Legal Studies (CLS), which argued that the law was not objective or apolitical. CLS was a significant departure from earlier conceptions of the law (and other fields of scholarship) as objective, neutral, principled, and dissociated from social or political considerations. Like proponents of CLS, critical race theorists recognized that the law could be complicit in maintaining an unjust social order. Where critical race theorists departed from CLS was in the recognition of how race and racial inequality were reproduced through the law. Further, CRT scholars did not share the approach of destabilizing social injustice by destabilizing the law. Many CRT scholars had witnessed how the law could be used to help secure and protect civil rights. Therefore, critical race theorists recognized that, while the law could be used to deepen racial inequality, it also held potential as a tool for emancipation and for securing racial equality.

Foundational questions that underlie CRT and the law include: How does the law construct race?; How has the law protected racism and upheld racial hierarchies?; How does the law reproduce racial inequality?; and How can the law be used to dismantle race, racism, and racial inequality?

Fucking terrible, right? How will america ever survive if we use the legal system to secure human rights!

It's funny in it's totality, isn't it...that the thing we're not teaching to kids that has ws blowing their tops..when you actually look into it..is a thing we probably should be teaching our kids.

There's no way that implementation of CRT will lead to presently disenfranchised groups of people becoming the new leaders who are in charge of the legal system, and that these newly established groups will favor retributive forms of justice. No, that couldn't happen.

Consider the absurdity of your comment. That we shouldn't improve our legal system or our society, for fear that The Other will harm us if we do. Just straight up replacement shit, lol. You'd think that if it was that easy to conquer whitey in his own country the disenfranchised might have given it a shot earlier. Before the raping and pillaging and oppression.

I'm not convinced CRT would improve anything.

Already has been. Civil rights lawyers use it...that's what it's for. Obviously, opinions as to whether civil rights are an improvement vary. Some people, for example, worry that granting the untermensch their civil rights will lead to those same sub-humans revolting and or capturing your state to exact revenge.

RE: Can America ever truly pay for its sins?
Any sin can be payed for; but the sinner must:

1-Confess their sin to God and pray to never ever return to the sin
2-Try their best not to ever come back to that sin
3-Pay whatever penalty is there for the damage they did both to themselves and to others

1 is personal and nothing of my business, but 2 is only my business if the sin caused me damage, 3 is the hardest and the point where many sinners quit and decide to continue with their sin.

Ask yourself this question: would America pay for every life it has ruined; would pay the ransom of the souls it destroyed directly or indirectly by supporting dictators, waging wars, arming tyrants and protecting criminals?

Would it return the gold it stole after WW2 ? would it even agree to negotiate the damage it did?
