Odd that the subject of sewing machines came up. I’m currently repurposing the wrought iron frame of a junked Singer as wall sconces.

Yea, my grams had one but I don't remember the box cover, she said it was from the 1920's. As kids we used to put paper on the slide plate and punch out designs.

Grandma F had one too but the machine folded in. I hadn't ever seen on like the one we have before either. Husband's grandfather picked this one up somewhere and gave it to me.
