But Astrega, the whole world -especially westerm countries- are exporting "maiming devices" called live ammunition; and deploy them to fighting jets and landmines, and crossed the level of hypocrisy to sell them for billions of Dollars to dictators who use maiming + butchery towards millions of innocent people, like the "maiming war of Yemen" that the west + Saudi Arabia are waging now.

Calling maiming with other names like "tactical airstrike" remains what it is: a maiming strike.

I'm not happy about that either, Winter.  At some point we have to simply say "This is bad, and it doesn't matter who's doing it, and it doesn't matter how they're trying to justify it."  If an action is wrong, it's wrong in all contexts.

"Anymore"? Have they been carried out in the past?
Why are these sentences made nevertheless in the 21st century?

You noticed that you just accused Islam of being inhumane?

Heres the syllogism, for the mentally challenged, or a dishonest fuck like you:

p1 Messing with eyes is inhumane
p2 Islam messes with eyes when the commuter touched the eye of the victim first
c Islam is inhumane

Btw: Chopping off hands is not?

While in your land, they become guests in 7 star rooms called prison to masturbate for life fantasying about what they did.
Killers get sentenced for life in my country, not crucified like the Quran, according to the article you linked, suggests.
What is the sentence in Islam for someone visiting an atheist forum and spreading heresy?

And you seem to masturbate at the thought of (cross) amputation and crucifiction. So whats the difference between you and a serial killer? Both of you have no business in a civilized society.

In certain cases it also referred to armed, assault, and murder.

[emphasis mine]

So it's clear that spreading corruption in the land can refer to apostasy or disbelief and that verse, referring to corruption, was inspired by the blinding of criminals.

But the same link also says:

Shame..shame.
So this is how rapists, serial killers and armed robbers are dealt with in Allah's quran.

(Bold mine)

People who have never been in prison will kindly shut the fuck up about prison conditions.

We must consider the "psychological trauma" that crimes leave when brutal penalties are mentioned as a cure for them: certain crimes leave a stigma; an almost permanent mark in the brain of the victim that keeps circulating if not cured & treated.

Curing the stigma is referred to as "healing of chests" in the Quran:

Quote:Sura 9, The Quran:

https://quran.com/9:14?store=false&translations=

(14) Combat them, so that Allah may punish them at your hands and disgrace them and support you against them and heal the chests of a believing people

(15) and remove the rage in their hearts. And Allah grants repentance and accepts it from whomever He wills. And Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise.

— Fadel Soliman, Bridges’ translation

Islam doesn't order painful penalties because it is evil. But because these crimes leave stigmas and permanent marks in one's brain and if not treated with a just retribution, the victim will get consumed by the shame and pain, and will go into a vendetta frenzy, or end their life altogether to escape the stigma.

No; I reject that rationalization.  The punishment must fit the crime and not surpass it, and taking away a living body part as retaliation for the loss of a non-living item is blatant injustice.

Always.

No. Fucking.  Exceptions.

And any society that permits such injustice is a society that deserves to fail so that it can be replaced by a more sane one.

Needless brutality to the guilty will never cure the innocent

The brain is a living organ just like your hands. If you cause a permanent trauma to it then the person ceases to function probably:

Quote:Spending on mental health treatment and services reached $225 billion in 2019, according to an Open Minds Market Intelligence Report

https://www.cnbc.com/2021/05/10/cost-and...e%20Report.

In America alone, spending on keeping that organ away from permanent traumas & stigmas reached 225 billion $ in 2019 !!
Still, it is a society full of psychopaths and their mental health showed what level of apathy it reached in my civilisation's encounter with them in 2003 ! the Japanese told similar stories of utter psychopathy about their ancestors.

To each their view; but you can ask a an African parent who got their daughter raped and killed about where they would prefer her attacker to be trailed: a country where they would be imprisoned for life -with  a chance of parole- or an Islamic country where they would be hanged probably.
