There is no contradiction between admiring Ukraine's resolve to defend their homeland from a cruel and unjust invasion and at the same time being sad at what it cost them to do so. No one wants war but peace at any cost is no peace at all and peace without justice is simply defeat.

People can't have their cake and eat it too. If they want to take back Crimea, they should have a stiff upper lip when Ukrainians are killed in combat by Putin, rather than whining about us peaceniks and posting sad pictures and acting sad about dead soldiers, which is exactly what they're asking for. The killing of Ukrainian soldiers for a decade or more, if need be. Take the losses like men, and celebrate, because their sacrifice has brought you one step closer to victory. Stop trying to manipulate us with sad pictures of dead children like a Sarah McGlocklin funding the injured puppies commercial when this is what people asked for. Their assessment of T-72 stocks has changed—for the worse. In a mid-February count, @partizan_oleg assumed Russia went to war with nearly 2,000 of the 50-ton, three-person T-72s with their 125-millimeter smoothbore main guns.

In the first 12 months of fighting, the Ukrainians destroyed or captured nearly 1,200 T-72s or likely T-72s that Oryx could confirm. Since there undoubtedly have been tank losses that didn’t leave video or photographic evidence, the Oryx count is an undercount. If Oryx confirmed 80 percent of losses, then the Russians actually have written off 1,500 T-72s.

But even after adding some very old Urals to @partizan_oleg’s T-72 survey, a stark conclusion is unavoidable. The Russians have lost potentially two-thirds of the T-72s that are in active service or in recoverable storage

It's truly pathetic that IA thinks anybody actually wants the war to last a day let alone 10 years (which it won't because will lose by the end of this year). We want the war to end now. But the condition of that is Russia GTFO of regions of Ukraine it took by force illegally anything else isn't peace. How is it peaceful to reward aggression? And yeah we will show the Russian Apologists the dead Ukrainians these pathetic simps peddling Russian talking points and ridiculous bothsidism because they need to see the aggression they are defending, justifying, and pretending has any merit at all. Ukraine has the right as a sovereign nation to join NATO for protection from Russia and Russia has ruined any prospects of peace a hundred times over by now. So don't give me that bullshit.
