Russia and Ukraine
RE: Russia and Ukraine
There is no contradiction between admiring Ukraine's resolve to defend their homeland from a cruel and unjust invasion and at the same time being sad at what it cost them to do so. No one wants war but peace at any cost is no peace at all and peace without justice is simply defeat.

Fair enough. But at the same time, people shouldn't be whining to us peaceniks about dead Ukrainians and saying in the soft toned Michael Jackson South Park voice that peaceniks are fapping over dead Ukrainians and are the real problem while making sad faces and posting sad pictures, and then in the next post, they go on to talk about how they want the war to go on for another decade if need be. People can't have their cake and eat it too. If they want to take back Crimea, they should have a stiff upper lip when Ukrainians are killed in combat by Putin, rather than whining about us peaceniks and posting sad pictures and acting sad about dead soldiers, which is exactly what they're asking for. The killing of Ukrainian soldiers for a decade or more, if need be. Take the losses like men, and celebrate, because their sacrifice has brought you one step closer to victory. Stop trying to manipulate us with sad pictures of dead children like a Sarah McGlocklin funding the injured puppies commercial when this is what people asked for. And btw, the remarks about stiffening the upper lip were to others complaining about the peaceniks and not you in particular, because I know you're a cold blooded bastard and I respect that about you, as I've let it be known in the past, so don't take that as a knock on you personally.
What is a peacenik? Someone who professes to advocate peace, no matter the cost........for other people?
Yeah, stop this "pro life"-like sophitry BS. Please pay a LITTLE respect to everyone else here by putting at least a BIT of effort into selling your position.

Stop trying to be "hip", its ridiculous and pathetic.

RE: Russia and Ukraine
Russia Is Running Out Of Tanks

Colour me surprised.

Quote:Their assessment of T-72 stocks has changed—for the worse. In a mid-February count, @partizan_oleg assumed Russia went to war with nearly 2,000 of the 50-ton, three-person T-72s with their 125-millimeter smoothbore main guns.

In the first 12 months of fighting, the Ukrainians destroyed or captured nearly 1,200 T-72s or likely T-72s that Oryx could confirm. Since there undoubtedly have been tank losses that didn’t leave video or photographic evidence, the Oryx count is an undercount. If Oryx confirmed 80 percent of losses, then the Russians actually have written off 1,500 T-72s.

Quote:But even after adding some very old Urals to @partizan_oleg’s T-72 survey, a stark conclusion is unavoidable. The Russians have lost potentially two-thirds of the T-72s that are in active service or in recoverable storage

Child, unlike you, I've operated under NATO orders, and have studied its leadership. Additionally, I'm much better-versed in American politics and government organization than you are, I suspect.

Also, it's funny you're trying to link me with Trump by deliberately misspelling my screen-name. Anyone who knows me knows how much I detest the man, and knows that I've never voted for him, and that I have vowed to never vote for anyone who has given him any support.

But hey, do continue to speak out of ignorance. It's amusing you could be so wrong about someone and still think you know your ass from third-base. You might want to take it easy on that shovel.

Its a pity you didn't have the spine to direct this massively incorrect post to me directly, but hey, I've known all along you're a shitbag, so while it's amusing it's not surprising.

You're doing your best to justify those victims of this Russian crime. What a blowhard.

I would say that IA as a far right bod is trying to butter you up with the Trump comparison, not denigrate you.

"Pity" they've the attention span of a dead gnat and don't understand you.

RE: Russia and Ukraine
It's truly pathetic that IA thinks anybody actually wants the war to last a day let alone 10 years (which it won't because will lose by the end of this year). We want the war to end now. But the condition of that is Russia GTFO of regions of Ukraine it took by force illegally anything else isn't peace. How is it peaceful to reward aggression? And yeah we will show the Russian Apologists the dead Ukrainians these pathetic simps peddling Russian talking points and ridiculous bothsidism because they need to see the aggression they are defending, justifying, and pretending has any merit at all. Were the side of peace because we want to punish a regime that has flaunted peace and brought war through subterfuge and invasion. While they want to reward that regime with land and concessions and a might makes right midset of international politics. Anyone who thinks that is being peaceful is delusional.

Be weak-willed and cowardly and hide behind legalism as a justification for inaction and reward imperialism.

Russian Imperialism sucks as hard as any other kind and though NATO isn't made up of saints and Zelensky isn't ideal but sometimes there really is a lesser of two evils and Russia has no fucking right invading its neighbors and it needs to GTFO of Ukraine and stop peddling dumbass excuses for why it invaded. Nato wasn't going to invade Russia and no nukes were going to be deployed in Ukraine and you have enough fascists in your own country for you to deal with.Give us a freaking break!

NATO said recently that Ukraine will be let into NATO eventually, ruining the prospect of peace anytime soon. Russia is in this till the bitter end now, as they probably should be.

Was at work and a resident's telly was on the news regarding Russia's recent firing of missiles. Coworker and I agreed this is why we don't pay attention to the news.

Ukraine has the right as a sovereign nation to join NATO for protection from Russia and Russia has ruined any prospects of peace a hundred times over by now. So don't give me that bullshit.

No, they are not. And they shouldn't have been in this period. They had no valid reasons to invade Ukraine period.
