the T-14 had been seen bloodied and broken down on the way to a VE day parade in front of the Kremlin wall necropolis a number of years ago. After that occasion, the Russians thought better of showing off their latest military gadgets during a victory day parade, and resorted to using period Appropriate vintage T 34s, which actually runs, to decorate their victory day parades.
the story is the T14 project has been cancelled. it was it was doom by the fact that the entire chassis was designed around a new, hyper compact engine that never worked anywhere close to reliably. And no engine that actually works could be found that will fit in a tiny engine bay.

There is a saying here that goes like: “A tike will not bite another tike”.
Although the death of Prigozhin has been confirmed by DNA tests (that were carried out by the Russian government), I believe that all of it might have been simply staged (a “coup de theater” as they say).
My guess is that he is still serving Putin’s cause in some place, in some way

He was just a brutal thug, but I didn’t think he was actually that stupid. I would be curious to know what Putin offered to lure him to Moscow, or if in fact he came against his will or came already dead, or he was just resigned to the fact that unless he wanted to eek out a few more month like a rat bolting from hole to hole one step ahead of FSB/KGB assassin squads, he was dead anyway and just wanted to get it over with.
Maybe as Hitler had done with Rommel, Putin offered to not touch his family if he consented to actively collaborated in the death Putin planned for him. Given the fact that Putin delivered a backhanded eulogy and a wreath to his family, I suspect that is what happened.
This may be one of the events in which the public gets to learn what has truly happened, decades after the event itself. Possibly after the collapse of this neo-tsarist regime. And that is, if the documents somehow manage to survive until that day.

It was a shit-show from the get-go. Prigozhyn overplayed his hand, trying to intimidate Putin by taking a city of 13 million with a few thousand troops. They would have been crushed no matter what, albeit with much angst and perhaps Putin falling in a few weeks ... after Wagnerites had been exterminated.
When the time came to shit or get off'n the pot, Prig shat himself and then tried to find the commode. Too late, dude, the brown has hit your jeans and everyone can see it. Moral of the story: don't bluff if you can't back it up. It's not like they could guard supply lines or whatnot. Sure, you can gas up at a station, and grab food from stores, but you will run out of ammo.
I say that maybe Prigozhin died because “he had to die”.
It is perfectly possible that they “killed him” and then sent him to some beach resort in Venezuella or event turned him into a master educator in the Headquarters of the Chinese Secret Service in Beijing (Who knows).
The entire news report on the whole event is Russian.

Boru
They only have 20 of those tanks. They never had the money to mass-produce them.
Another example of Russian Genius in the hand of Russian thugocracy

So that’s my theory
Meh, after his revolt, do you think Putin would trust him? I don't.
I think the West is pushing them to do that even if it means losing some personnel and equipment. Nothing is definitive yet, but if it works, I think the war might end within months instead of years. That’s very important because if Biden loses the elections in 2024, it is not clear if the US can continue with its huge amount of military and financial support on Ukraine.
Also, if it works, it will be a huge coincidence. In the end of the month of August 1922 (also August 30th / almost exactly on century ago) that’s when we broke through the Greek defense lines in what we call The Great Offensive that had started a week before that. And after that happened (and that’s how trench warfare works), the defending side has no choice but the retreat as quickly as possible unless there is an equally well defendable position some 30-50 miles behind them. And I think Russian forces would be able to do that and would have to retreat all the way back to Crimea.
In fact, I have come to believe that Crimea might be the only part of invaded Ukrainian territory that they might somehow manage to keep at the end of this war.
But I don’t want to be too optimistic either. The Ukrainians seem to lack the numbers in this war (Almost 3 to 1 if I am correct). And that can be very important in this WWI type of warfare.
Here is a nice summary of the current situation that has a more optimistic approach with regards to the limited results of the Ukrainian counteroffensive:
Rheinmetall has produced the first 35mm rounds for the 46 Gepards. 40.000 rounds are planned until end of 2023. Switzerland had refused to deliver ammo to Ukraine.
