I'm guessing the 1972 El Camino, with the 350, the manliest of all rides.

Girly...

The 72 was available with 402 or 454 big blocks...

I would bet money there is a problem with the cold start circuit.

It would be easy to verify - by pulling the spark plugs after running in cold weather. Blackened, sooty appearance indicates an over rich condition - likely caused by the cold start mixture staying on.

It's under warranty, 5 years/60,000 miles. I only have 12,000 so far.

My wife’s recently retired Phaeton - 6L 12cylinder engine - got around 12mpg. If you were going downhill. With a good tail wind.

Get it in for service.

5 to 10% difference in mpg at colder temps is normal and acceptable.

Your engine HAS to be running way over rich in mixture. It WILL do damage over time - as it will carbon contaminate the oil.

If they tell you " it' s normal to get 1/4 the mpg in colder weather" get a lawyer. In some states such fuckaround can end up getting you a brand new car......

I know it does in Michigan...

F450 with about 10k behind it, usually.  Sometimes more, sometimes less.  Don't worry, my daily driver is much better.  It gets a whopping 16mpg highway!

The Wife wants a Fusion, but we'll have to put it off until a Fusion could get in and out of the property.
