RE: Favorite Video Game
Everyone!

I've heard of a news where Bethesda (Maker of Fallout 3) and BioWare (Maker of Dragon Age/ME) are going to work together for one project named "Apocalyptic Ages"

The project has a mix between the Fallout games and Dragon Age, a mix of fantasy with a retrofuturistic story. The teams have announced they will be implementing some characters from their own previous made games into Apocalyptic Ages!

A brief description on the story:
"The protagonist (own made character) is an astrobiologist. He/She is sent out on a mission to discover extraterrestrial life since they had found some clues from a small metorite which has impacted onto Earth. The protagonist discovered an peculiar object and not knowing what desvastating effect it can bring to Earth, He/She takes it there. An experiment went horribly wrong and it's up to the protagonist and companions to save Earth."

Some more information, it seems that the producers said that they would be including some major countries from around the world into the project, such as America, China, Australia, Brazil, Norway, India and much more. The cool thing is, it's much like a sandbox like the fallout games. All your actions reflect upon your character.

I so can't wait. Big Grin The game is set to launch somewhere around December.

My favorite game of all time has to be ...

Xenogears and Star Ocean: The Second Story in a tie.

Older games yes, but I have yet to find an RPG I like better. Though to be fair, I haven't had the money to upgrade to a PS3, so Im stuck in the previous generation of console games (PS2).
If today you can take a thing like evolution and make it a crime to teach in the public schools, tomorrow you can make it a crime to teach it in the private schools and next year you can make it a crime to teach it to the hustings or in the church. At the next session you may ban books and the newspapers...
Ignorance and fanaticism are ever busy and need feeding. Always feeding and gloating for more. Today it is the public school teachers; tomorrow the private. The next day the preachers and the lecturers, the magazines, the books, the newspapers. After a while, Your Honor, it is the setting of man against man and creed against creed until with flying banners and beating drums we are marching backward to the glorious ages of the sixteenth centry when bigots lighted fagots to burn the men who dared to bring any intelligence and enlightenment and culture to the human mind. ~Clarence Darrow, at the Scopes Monkey Trial, 1925

Politics is supposed to be the second-oldest profession. I have come to realize that it bears a very close resemblance to the first. ~Ronald Reagan

A game like that would be a dream come true for me.

I do not think it is necessary to believe that the same God who has given us our senses, reason, and intelligence wished us to abandon their use, giving us by some other means the information that we could gain through them

Umm... April fools, kiddo.

Also, a game made by both of these companies would suck. Hard.

I hacked mines too.

I don't. I already have a PS2 if I want to play any of my gigantic library of great games. I've also no desire to hack what stuff I have... that tends to imply hassle. I hate hassle.

My ALL time favorite game has to be Final Fantasy 7 (only SEVEN!) Then there is Fable: The Lost Chapters.

Those two games have an infinite replay value for me haha. Seriously, I've beaten Fable about 20 times, no joke. And FFVII about 5 times, which is saying a lot cuz it is SOOOOO long. Not to mention I mod Fable, so it always changes, and since I make mods it changes how I want it too Tongue

That a thing is provided doesn't mean it is either relevant or safe. There are reasons I don't click every link I see. He claimed there was more information there, and i didn't need any more information to tell him it is false. A game based off of those premises and between bioware/bethesda would tank horribly, and would be too great a time sink for at least bethesda (which to my knowledge is largely on skyrim).

I never said click it because it's there, I said click it because it was there for a reason. and I never refuted your other claims.

I felt you implied that I should have clicked it. I still haven't for the same reasons.

In other news, I hate the invention of april fools day. It regulates silliness and pranks, and so it is expected that everything said on that day is false and that one should be quite careful of anything offered by anyone (as well as being extremely aware).
