Republicolibertarianazis want to protect from the "socialists."

Quote:MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) - Nine Alabama hospital patients who were treated with contaminated intravenous feeding bags have died and the maker has pulled the product off the market, state health officials said Tuesday.

Ten more people treated with the bags that provide nutrients through IV tubes also were sickened by the outbreak of serratia marcescens bacteria, health officials said. However, officials have not definitively tied the deaths to the bacterial outbreak at six hospitals, State Health Officer Donald Williamson said.

RE: Here's Some of that Great Health Care the
Did you actually read the article or just think "Something has gone wrong, must be republicans" in your typical way of blaming them for all your problems? This has absolutely nothing to do with private VS public health care.

This was a case of a drug supplier (which exist in both systems) that has a problem in their manufacturing process where a product was cross-contaminated and given to patients. Unless you think no accidents happen in public healthcare (which would make delusional) this is in absolutely no way applicable to the concern you are trying to tie it to.

Not only that, but there is as of yet no evidence that the bacterial contamination caused the deaths, only that the infection was discovered on the IVs the patients were using, the same IV's that every single patient in the hospital was using. To quote one of your beloved and apparently infallible government officials: "There is nothing to suggest the deaths were directly related to the bacterial infection" - State Health Officer Donald Williamson.

And the company, when made aware of the error, recalled the product, which is absolutely what you would expect anyone to do.

And this was not even one of these 'rich cocksuckers' that make you wet your pants with fear, it was a Pharmacy and a relatively small one at that, one that makes IV fluids and has a moderate if best distribution area.
