I don't.  I employ it for profit.  You don't really need belief when you can do a thing yourself.  At any rate, evolution is a fact, not a theory. Populations of animals do change over time, not just in the fossil record - but on humanly observable timescales.

You can force it in just a few months with cladogenesis if you really wanted to. There's a theory that attempts to explain that fact, but I'm guessing you don't much care. So, there's a +1 for the work of you establishing that you're an idiot.  I'll have to tell you upfront..unless you can keep this up for something like 400 pages...don't waste your breath.  You'll never even glimpse the podium.

I believe that on based on buddhists in the US.   Buddhism has no historic or cultural tradition in the US.  Those who self identify as buddhists who emigrate to the US are on average far more highly educated than the average buddhist in countries of their origin.   

I have some personal experience with buddhists from south east asia, particularly Malaysia, Nepal and Burma,  They seem typically vehemently, or as vehemently as buddhist continences allow, anti evolution. 

They confidently rebut evolution with the same things heard on US senatorial campaign circuit: “If monkeys became men, why are there still monkeys”.

Well I think that's a valid criticism. Can anyone explain why there are still monkeys? Humans did not come from monkeys, not directly at least.

Evolution isn’t a matter for belief, it’s a matter of accepting or rejecting a brute fact. Rejecting evolution is as patently silly as rejecting the fact that trees are made of wood.
