Yup. She's not advocating violence. She's tolerant of religious people with children. She recognizes the obvious fact that many people get pleasure from punishing others.

So long as their practice doesn't violate our laws, no. I've got religious people in my family. Why would I want to torment them who I love?

It's a reasonable thing to talk about in a thread. To what extent does our disagreement over religion cause us to want to act out? To force others to feel bad?

When someone aims a vulgar, content-free insult at you, it's just an attempt to make you feel bad.

And an attempt to make you feel bad is an attempt to punish you, for something the insulter doesn't approve of.
