White people suck just like everyone else does. All races have good and bad. White majority countries deserve props in the sense that they are the most pro-gay rights, they have the best social safety nets, many majority white countries have national healthcare, they are more likely to have abolished the death penalty etc. We've brought some great technology and medicine to the world, but on the flipside, we've deforested the world, polluted the air, harmed the oceans, and the harm we've caused from global warming is about to shove its' dick up our asses. Whites are more likely to support free speech, which is a position that I agree with, but at the same time, millions of those idiot white folks will turn around and support BDS or cheer on the billionaire who mocks them behind their backs, and talks about sending people to jail for burning the flag, which would be a violation of free speech, and Europe and Canada don't have freedom of speech either.

Many black folks have kind of phrased this whole thing as a type of spiritual warfare between the angelic blacks and the white devil, and the point I've brought up really is that you don't beat racism with racism. I personally don't think there's anything inherently wrong with any race of people, which is why I reject this rhetoric. Should Asian people be called devils because of what leadership in China is doing to the Uyghurs? It's human nature. Power corrupts and can make you do some really fucked up things.

Yes, when you have racist trash like Jon Stewart or all these other people invite 400 pound blue haired race activists on their shows to "shut down" white people and say white people don't get to talk anymore because we've already had 400 years to fix the issue, this is going to piss a lot of white people off and only help to radicalize them. We need to resist this though. These activists don't speak for all minorities, and we need to continue judging people individually on the content of their character, not as groups of people we stereotype as all the same. If you fall into that trap and judge all minorities based on what the cringe activists are doing, that makes you just as bad as these activists or even worse.

We've done a lot of fucked up shit in the past and still today, and we owe it to black and Indian people to help them rise up from the situation they are currently in. The loudest activists may be speaking a lot of jibberish and nonsense, but there is a point in there somewhere once you sort through all of the hatred and religiosity and hysterics, and we owe them the help.

I actually agree with a lot of what you’re saying here for once.

The good:
1) White people have done a lot of horrible shit.
2) Framing issues of race in such a Manichæan way with one race being “the good guys” and the other being “the bad guys” is reductive.
3) There’s nothing inherently wrong with any race (with the exception of the human race.)
4) Power can corrupt people. It’s probably in the nature of power.
5) There’s a big problem of left-wing activism that can get blind to optics and can easily backfire. It’s been demonstrated how people laughing at SJWs tends to lead to far-right radicalisation

Bad:
1) While it’s technically accurate that “white majority” countries tend to have do good on things like gay rights, social safety nets, and human rights in general, phrasing it like that is misleading: there’s no correlation between whiteness and those good things. Hell, Russia’s proving itself to be a great counter example.
2) While judging people on the content of their character is good, and I honestly long for the day when we no longer feel the need to judge people by the colour of their skins (race as we understand it is essentially a bullshit concept created to excuse enslaving entire groups of people), the sad thing is we’re not even close to reaching that point. Maybe when we all don’t have to deal with “the situation they are currently in,” but the fact is we do. Because all that, there’s only two ways of understanding it: is it the result we should expect of centuries of oppression, or is it that they’re just lazy and bad and all kinds of shit like that? And I cannot for the life of me find a way of actually fixing those problems while only judging the colour of their skins. This is where there is some utility in the racial narratives. White people have done a lot of horrible shit to people of other races, but it doesn’t have to be that way. If we want anything done, we need to learn from our mistakes and be better than that.

I don't know entirely why white majority countries are better on some issues like social safety nets and healthcare, and I didn't necessarily mean just to attribute those things to whiteness or white culture. White majority countries are usually richer, so of course because of that they can afford these nice things that poorer countries can't necessarily afford, and because of how well off we are, we have more time to focus on 1st world problems as some might call them like allowing gays to marry and such. Freedom of religion and things like that certainly help as well, because Saudi Arabia has plenty of money, but aren't so great on social issues.

What we see today is the result we should expect from centuries of oppression, as you put it. Absolutely. A big part of the problem is that too many people think of this in religious terms, free will, etc, when there is no evidence for free will. People say "the Asians lifted themselves up by the bootstraps, so why can't blacks?" Well, it of course can't be that simple because there is no free will and people can not choose to do anything other than what they do. Most people are religious and believe in a spooky ghost in the machine or whatever, so they're just never going to understand the real situation, because their religiosity is so ingrained, and many of them think that "hey, if these black people hate me anyways, why shouldn't I return the favour and make it an eye for an eye?" And of course, the crime rates can be really scary to some people, so they distance themselves from these people because they don't understand that what white people did in the past has led us to where we are right now.

Of course it's understandable for a black person to be hesitant about accepting individual white people as good people when first meeting them let's say, because plenty of white people do blame blacks for the situation they are in, or do distrust them right back based on being black, or deny privilege, and a whole other load of things.
